The Review
I was waiting anxiously for 3 years, and then it finally came out! I could barely contain my excitement, but as I watched it, my smile started to fade, and disappointment came across. Without a shadow of a doubt, number one is a thousand times better. Although I wouldn't say it's all around bad, there are a couple parts of the film I enjoyed. The comedy is still there, so is the action. But it just lacked something, and I can't quite put my finger on it. Kick-Ass is by far one of the best films I have ever seen, but number two is nowhere near as good.
I can't fault the acting, nor the comedy and definitely not the action, but it lacks in something that Kick-Ass delivered brilliantly. Is it the storyline? The directing? I don't know, I just can't seem to figure it out. But nevertheless, I am still anxiously going to wait for Kick-Ass 3. Even though number two came across as a disappointment, number one is still insanely exhilarating, and everyone deserves a second chance don't they?
Kick-ass 2 is an action packed, thrilling and insanely fast-paced film. It's still good and worth the watch, but just don't get your hopes up like I did. You may just come out feeling a bit more disappointed than you initially thought you would.
